"It’s that feeling you get, when the blade touches your skin. It’s indescribable! You begin to feel numb, and everything around you is so quiet. It’s just the razor blade, and your wrist. You’ve felt so dead to the world, for so long, and you just need that relief you get as the blade slices your skin. You watch it all happen, like in a silent black and white motion picture, yet it feels like you’re frozen in time. You take the blade and push it into you skin and drag it across. And then, just as though you’ve suddenly come back to life, you see the beads of bright red blood form on your wrist and you feel so alive. You cut more and more, attacking your wrists, watching the blood flow out of you. You begin to think what am I doing? But it doesn’t matter because it feels so good. Your head starts to spin, you even get dizzy. And for that instant all of your troubles are gone, they flow away, just like the blood from the fresh cuts..."
